This Myler bit features an English style Dee ring with hooks and a a low port comfort snaffle. This is a Myler level 2 bit. It is NOT dressage legal.
The MB 04 is similar to the MB 02 in that it will rotate on the tongue and apply tongue pressure, however, it has a low 1/4" port that introduces some tongue relief to the horse. The port allows the horse to swallow and move his tongue when he is moving forward and relaxed, which acts as a release or reward.
The dee with hooks is a stainless steel "D" shaped ring with fixed attachment of the mouthpiece, as well as slots (hooks) at the top and bottom of the ring for bridle and rein attachment. The small loop behind the top slot accommodates a curb strap (attach with two curb hooks). Both the top bridle slot and bottom rein slot on the standard and medium dee will fit standard bridle leather. The slots on the pony dee will fit " bridle leather
