Toklat Low Port Pelham

This bit features pelham cheeks and a low port mouthpiece.

A pelham is a dual use bit. Used with doubled reins, pressure on the snaffle ring creates direct pressure action like a dee ring or eggbutt. Pressure on the curb rein creates leverage action in same way as a curb cheek. The low port mouth offers more tongue relief than a mullen, but less palate pressure than a high or correction port.
